This is part 1 of a series I am putting together to help you get prepared for your Insurance Exam. The first part of the series will focus on things you can do before the exam and later installments will include tips while actually taking the test.
Quiet time – Cultivate and then use a “quiet time” to review your situation, to compose yourself, and to prepare yourself for a project, subjects like Physics for IITJEE, or other stressful situations in the day.
Now you are already shaking, but first things first. Don’t scare yourself. The fear of failure can affect your performance. Beat this by assess you learning style. Do you learn faster by going it alone or do you flourish in a classroom environment? Do you prefer video lessons or do you love to read and write what you read until your brain absorbs the lessons? When you know what’s best for you, go for it.
Learning experts would agree that learning is more about UNDERSTANDING rather than MEMORIZING. That although memorizing is needed, understanding what you’ve memorized helps you retain them better.
You should not just focus on your study schedule but also on your regular daily exercise and healthful diet at the same time to maintain a fit and strong body. Having a strong and fit body will allow you to stabilize your emotions and concentrate more on your study sessions and goals. Having a fit body is the best way to a happy and intelligent mind of a person. Don’t just dismiss the critical role of a healthy body on effective studying habits.
